Boil Water Notice Rescinded - W. Big Elm Road
March 29, 2019
On March 26, 2019, the Texas Commission on Environmental Quality required the Elm Creek Water Supply Corporation, public water system #1550026, to issue a Boil Water Notice to inform customers, individuals, or employees that due conditions which occurred recently in the public water system during the installation of a new valve, the water from this public water system was required to be boiled prior to use for drinking water or human consumption purposes. This particular Boil Water Notice only affected West Big Elm Road from Willow Grove Road all the way to Guyton Road.
The public water system has taken the necessary corrective actions to restore the quality of the water which is distributed by this public water system used for drinking water or human consumption purposes and has provided TCEQ with laboratory test results that indicate that the water no longer requires boiling as of March 29, 2019.
