Boil Water Notice

Due to a line break at our water plant on State Hwy 107, The Texas Commission on Environmental Quality requires this system, Elm Creek Water Supply Corporation, PWS #1550026, to issue a boil water alert for all its customers on Blue Cut Road South proceeding West approximately 8 miles to Eagle Springs, all of S.W. McLennan Rd., CR 338, CR 339, CR 340, FM 2671 approximately 2 miles north of State Hwy. 107, State Hwy 236  to Mother Neff State Park, FM 2671 approximately 2 miles north of State Hwy 107, All of Blue Cut Road North and Blue Cut Road South, Wyatt Lane, All of Alexander Road, J.B. Vandiver Loop, Old Country Road east to Donaldson Rd., from Donaldson Rd. north to Country Club Rd., from Blue Cut Rd. to State Hwy 317, Joy Lynn Rd. from State Hwy 317 to Spring Valley Rd., and north of Joy Lynn approximately 2 miles, and Spring Valley Road approximately 1.5 miles north of Tower Drive.

To ensure destruction of all harmful bacteria and other microbes, water for drinking, cooking, and making ice should be boiled and cooled prior to consumption.  The water should be brought to a vigorous rolling boil and then continue to boil for two minutes.  In lieu of boiling, you may purchase bottled water, or obtain water from another suitable source.

When it is no longer necessary to boil the water, water system officials will notify you when the water is safe for consumption.  Instructions to discontinue boiling will be issued in the same manner as this notice.
