Boil Water Rescinded Notice - Guyton Road
April 03, 2019
On April 1, 2019, the Texas Commission on Environmental Quality required the Elm Creek Water Supply Corporation, public water system #1550026, to issue a Boil Water Notice to inform customers, individuals, or employees that due to conditions which occurred recently in the public water system during the installation of a new pressure relief valve, the water from this public water system was required to be boiled prior to use for drinking water or human consumption purposes on Guyton Road, where it intersects with W. Big Elm Road and then proceeding all the way to the railroad crossing.
The public water system has taken the necessary corrective actions to restore the quality of the water which is distributed by this public water system used for drinking water or human consumption purposes and has provided TCEQ with laboratory test results that indicate that the water no longer requires boiling as of April 3, 2019.
